How to activate BSNL internet on mobiles

As per the guidelines from TRAI, the state-run telecom operator BSNL had launched mobile data service activation facility through a new toll-free short code 1925 from the 1st of September 2015 onwards. 

Procedure to activate BSNL internet

Due to TRAI guidelines the data service will not be available initially. BSNL users have to activate it personally and it is a simple process.


JUST send SMS : START to 1925

Step-1: open your SMS App / messages app
Step-2 : Select new Message or  click on '+' symbol
step-3: type "START" and send it to short code 1925
step-4: wait for the confirmation from BSNL
Step-5: After receiving confirmation just restart your mobile you will get internet service.

BSNL Air Fiber / BSNL High speed internet services to Rural villages / BSNL wireless internet service BSNL has rolled out Bharat AirFibre to help villages get access to internet connectivity.
